The Bizzy Bee warehouse is a local business in Littlestown, PA, that is coming up on the five year anniversary of opening their warehouse.
This warehouse is a tourist attraction and locals even love this shop. Bizzy Bee sells goods like antiques and handmade items. According to the owner, Sarah Bogus, some of their most popular items are ”honey, handmade jewelry, and seaglass local artwork crafted from materials gathered along the eastern shore.”
Bogus is also the owner of their family restaurant Fire House Grill, Bogus explained how she had always loved antiques, so when the warehouse that connected to her restaurant went up for sale you had to buy it and make it a cute antique shop with other local handmade goods. According to Bogus, store owner, she has always loved antiques.
What did Bogus decide to sell and why? Bogus has always loved antiques and handmade goods. Bizzy Bees sells over 45 types of handmade goods and homemade products like lotion and skin care. One of their big sellers is the local honey they sell. But the local honey is not why they call their warehouse Bizzy Bee. The name Bizzy Bees comes from an old cleaning product that was left in the warehouse when Bogus Bought it. Bogus said, ”Named after Bizzy Bee cleaner, which was in the building before our time.”
The five year anniversary celebration is an event held at Bizzy Bee Friday October 5, 2025. Bogus is very excited about this event. Bizzy Bee used to just be an ordinary warehouse that locals would visit and come and look at. Now Bizzy Bee is a tourist attraction with over 45 vendors in the shop. All of the products are different in their own ways.
