NASA unveiled the future Astronauts on September 22th! NASA presented ten astronauts for the future of the Artemis Mission. This Ten Will be the men and women who would walk on the moon next mission to the Moon! These 10 men and women are CWO. Ben Bailey, Lauren Edgar, Maj. Adam Fuhrmann, Maj. Cameron Jones, Yuri Kubo, Rebecca Lawler, Anna Menon, Lt. Cdr. Imelda Muller, Erin Overchash, Katherine Spies.
These 6 women and men are destined to walk the moon in 2027. After a lot of consideration, and 8,000 applicants NASA chose these 10 men and women. These astronauts are not only going to walk on the moon but might be the first humans to reach Mars!, ““I’m honored to welcome the next generation of American explorers to our agency! More than 8,000 people applied – scientists, pilots, engineers, dreamers from every corner of this nation. The 10 men and women sitting here today embody the truth that in America, regardless of where you start, there is no limit to what a determined dreamer can achieve – even going to space,” The Nasa administrator Sean Duffy said. Furthermore this generation is the sum of many advancements both technological and social that allowed many in this generation to be part of this ground breaking program.

Consequently there has been a feeling of excitement among this new generation of astronauts.

Engineers working on the Perseverance Rover the Gold cube is the MOXIE device that will aid on the mission(s) to Mars.

One of the most recent addition to the astronaut club is Anna Mennon former U.S Air force flight surgeon, biomedical researcher, and flight controller. Was extremely excited to be chosen as the future of NASA, “I am so thrilled to be back here with the NASA family,” Menon said. “As more and more people venture into space … we have this awesome opportunity to learn a tremendous amount to help support those astronauts … and help keep them healthy and safe. So it’s an exciting time to be here,” Menon said to CBS. This men and Women are the future of space travel being a groundbreaking 6/10 women one of the biggest percentage of women in NASA History.
In conclusion, this generation is destined to make history being the first to walk on the moon in over 50 years and it will be the first who might walk on Mars. The United states and the earth is lucky to have had the opportunity to be the home of these great men and women.
